Hello!

Purim 2022/5782 is approaching fast, and I wanted to share this recipe for a healthy version of Hamantaschen, ( or Oznei Haman, in Hebrew) the traditional triangle cookie that we Jews make and eat for Purim!

I am always looking for ways to reduce the amount of sugar that our family consumes, so I was really excited to experiment with this dough recipe that has no refined sugar, and instead uses blended cashews, honey and wholesome flours 🙂 Enjoy!

Recipe
1/4 raw cashews, soaked
2 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1+1/3 cup all -purpose flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup spelt flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

  1. I think I’m almost done with all of your videos. They’re so calming and relaxing. Your children are so adorable and well behaved. I miss the days when I could carry one on my hip while cooking or them standing on a little step stool. Now they’re all young adults and wonderful humans.
