I notice a lot of “whole” foods in the supposedly boring meals, which are actually the best for you and absorb into your system much faster and more efficiently allowing the consumer the ability to hold onto much more nutrients. In the meals she says are healthy and not boring I see what appears to be a lot of sugars, and refined flour which compared to wheat flour has a high glycemic index and can cause a spike in blood sugar level which leads to false energy bursts and hard crashes which leaves you craving more, and ultimately over eating and/or going for carbs. What flour is better and she could be using wheat flour, but “whole” foods are better. Fruits, veggies, proteins like eggs and grilled chicken, leafy greens, seafood, nuts, beans, legumes. If you wna truly eat healthy, remember “from farm to table.” Also this woman can justify eating stuff like high carb meals and sweets because she works out like a beast!! So, she’s burning it all off 🤷🏻‍♀️💪🏼✌🏼🏋🏻‍♀️

I think most of the gourmet food is the healthiest- I just got the Sioux Che's Indigenous Kitchen cookbook (and I haven't cooked out of it yet, but all the food in it looks INCREDIBLE) and it's pretty much all super healthy- lots of fat, and whole grains like amaranth and corn, etc. minimal sugar, lots of protein. It shows how a very well-balanced, high-fiber, high-protein, and nutrient-dense diet can look and taste amazing.
