–Greek Salad
• ½ cup red onion
• ¼ cup red wine vinegar
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 8 cups romaine lettuce
• 1 cup english cucumber
• 1 cup tomatoes
• ¾ cup green bell pepper
• ½ cup pitted kalamata olives
• 4 ounces feta cheese
–Dressing (makes about ¾ cup)
• 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
• 1 teaspoon lemon zest
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 2 teaspoons minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
• 1 teaspoon honey
• ½ teaspoon dried oregano
• ½ teaspoon kosher salt
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  1. Stop putting lettuce and calling it greek salad! For the love of god! Atleast put a disclaimer on the title!
    Call it my way of "greek" salad.
    A salad inspired by the greeks.
    Greek salad with a twist.

    It's like.. feta is cheese, parmesan is cheese let's call parmesan feta from now on.. it doesn't work like that.

Pro tip do 3 to 1 ratio of oil to acidity either lemon or sherry vinegar or a combo plus some grated zest the garlic tad of soft brown sugar or honey salt n pepper put all in a small clean jar now the secret ingredient is a tbs of cold water close lid shake you can like i do add torn basil or your fav herb the water helps emulsion don't forget 1 ts of dijon mustard n garlic
