  1. Not related to this recipe – but could I please get your opinion on this? I was trying to ketofy another recipe which calls for coating cauliflower with cornstarch and frying – and a popular substitute for cornstarch is glucomannan (which you heavily use – and I just ordered it). I suspect that might only work for thickening gravies/binding. Do you reckon if I coated cauliflower with glucomannan and fried it, it'd have the same effect? Have you fried vegetables after coating them with glucomannan? Results? My end goal is to have (lasting) crispy deep fried vegetables.

  2. OK, Looking again. Without returning to Merida, I can't do this as written ONLY due to the Whey Powder Protein. What is a substitute I may have on hand. I promise to get an unflavored whey protein powder when I get back out, but for now, I am stuck here in Motul. (Pandemic and all!) Thanks Angela. These look so YUMMY!!

  3. Ok I made these bad boys for supper last night. You absolutely nailed the crispy factor. The whole family wolfed them down, even the picky one. The sauce is great too. I will add more cayenne next time to adjust for our taste. I had a little trouble keeping the sauce on the wings but I am going to watch your video again to see where I went awry. I just can't thank you enough, you made me and my family very very happy. I had almost resigned myself to a life without wings.
