  1. I love papaya so almost every day I'll have a piece after breakfast and lunch. I make smoothies but I used more vegetables and less fruits because I'm type two diabetic.
    I sometimes make oatmeal for breakfast; I used almond milk that I made myself, plus flax, chia, hemp, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and nutmeg; I boiled it and when am ready to have it the I'd add some walnut, raisins, blueberries/raspberries/strawberries etc; berries are better for diabetics than any other fruits.
    I've had diabetes since the past 19 years and you wouldn't know it by looking at me! I'm 5' 4" tall and I weighed 110 lbs; I'm from a very slender family! I also don't look my age; when I told anyone my age they always doubted me and guessed 15 years younger!
    I tried to eat and drink as healthy as I can; I drink water, and sometimes tea with almond milk and NO sugar or any other sweetener. I buy organic foods and I mostly broiled and steamed my veggies.
