In this video, we’re going to share a delicious recipe for fresh and easy jerk catfish. This is a fantastic fish dish (you might even call it a delish fish dish). The jerk seasoning makes this keto recipe a little spicy, but it’s not overbearing.

The fish is on a medley of light vegetables with drizzled lime. It’s a beautiful and super tasty dish that makes a fantastic meal. If you don’t have catfish on hand, you can use any white fish that won’t easily fall apart. You can also mix up what kind of greens you use as well. Add your favorites!

  1. All this food looks very yummy and is extraordinary healthy, but I'm surprised how little fat you use in all your recipes. What is the expected fat content of this dish?
    Keto diet rules I learned prescribe 70% of fat or even 80% in your meals, if it is applied for therapeutic purposes. If you go to low with the fat content, the protein will be converted into sugar and your body wont reach the state of kitosis. Utilizing glucose and without more carbs, you are at risk to slow down your metabolism.

  2. Dr berg while doing some research to a comment I found some interesting information. You may have a relative who may have been the forefront of your medical career!
    Berg's postgraduate studies involved the use of radioisotope tracers to study intermediary metabolism. This resulted in the understanding of how foodstuffs are converted to cellular materials, through the use of isotopic carbons or heavy nitrogen atoms. Paul Berg's doctorate paper is now known as the conversion of formic acid, formaldehyde and methanol to fully reduced states of methyl groups in methionine. He was also one of the first to demonstrate that folic acid and B12 cofactors had roles in the processes mentioned.

    Berg is arguably most famous for his pioneering work involving gene splicing of recombinant DNA.[16] Berg was the first scientist to create a molecule containing DNA from two different species by inserting DNA from another species into a molecule. This gene-splicing technique was a fundamental step in the development of modern genetic engineering. After developing the technique, Berg used it for his studies of viral chromosomes.[17]

  3. Okay first 2 questions: What the heck is Jerk-Seasoning (whatโ€™s in it)? I live overseas, we donโ€˜t even have pumpkin-pie spice, Real Salt or No Salt.
    AND who do these hands belong to?
    No seriously, sheโ€™s doin a fine job, but I miss their daughter with the tatoos! Sounds crazy I know, but I could even identify Karenโ€˜s or Ericโ€˜s hands in one of these recipe videos. Is this their 2nd daughter now joining the Dream-Team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘

  4. I love you Dr Berg but in all your efforts to teach us about health I will have to call foul on this recipe. Catfish is not a clean food to eat. They are bottom dwellers which eat the excretions of other aquatics. As do Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Oysters. Along the same line of unclean foods would be pork. There are many more. These carry toxins within their flesh!
