I received an email from you, John, with this soup in it. I thought it looked delicious and planned to make it for our weekly dinner with the grandkids. As I was getting my ingredients together, I realized I had half of a 28 oz jar of Rao marinara sauce on hand. I decided to use just that and veg broth (I kept it vegetarian – no sausage). It was a huge hit. I love how easy it is and the spinach makes it a complete meal. Thank you! As for other soups, how about mulligatawny?

Huh, I never realized that tortellini means "little pies" in Italian! In Russian, "pierog" means pie, and "pierozhok" is a tiny dumpling (the more well-known Polish version are pierogi). Same idea all over the world!

Second comment of the day–I need some help. I went Amazon crazy and bought a rather large package of sundried tomatoes. Could you give some suggestions on what to do with them? Either new recipes or direct me to dishes you've already done. Thank you.
