  1. I can't remember whose recipe it was (I can picture her face from the youtube video), but I saw a recipe that added a small amount of a highly distilled alcohol, such as vodka, in order to improve the texture. I guess it serves as a sort of antifreeze agent to help it stay more like whipped cream and less like frozen milk.

  2. I tried making this but it left a coating on my spoon that was difficult to lick off and very off putting. I wonder if it's supposed to be like that or if I overshook the jar. Anybody else have this problem? It reminded me of when I made ranch dressing with heavy cream and overmixed it. I shook for about 5 minutes.

  3. Lmao I question the word "easy". I normally make ice cream AND it's ready to eat it in five minutes with no shaking. But I will try a batch with allulose. Thanks for the tip!

    Why forgo the Belgian waffle?! I make those very often. And it would go great with the ice cream. I might try that too!
