  1. Hello everyone. It's HERE!! The IP Version of my 10 vegetable soup. It's oil free and its every bit as savory and delicious as the original stove top version. Leave a note in the comments below if you have made this soup or if you plan on making this soup or even if you don't do soup at all in the summer. I do soup all year long. – Joey

  2. The Sunday before you posted this video I made the stovetop version of this soup. I’ve made and eaten a lot of vegetable soup in my life and this is the best one I’ve ever had. Seriously. If anyone is on the fence about making this, just do it, it’s delicious.

  3. 👍👍👍 I plan to make this to take to my daughter’s family when I visit next month. It looks delicious. Have been wanting to try Brand New Vegan’s oil free Simple Vegan Cornbread, which would be a good accompaniment. By the way, it’s hot as blue blazes here in North Carolina now. Safe travels.

  4. I made your soup yesterday in my small 3 quart Instant Pot. But I halved your recipe, and using 3 cups of broth. We two 80+year olds soup for dinner last night and again tonight. Gonzalo said to me, “Joanie, this is the best soup you have ever made”. Thanks Joey.

  5. Joey, amazing recipe, I’m going to make it soon. I wanted to make a suggestion and that is use hulled barley instead of pearl barley. Hulled barley is a whole grain whereas with pearled barley some part of the grain has been removed. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe with us!

  6. Great recipe Joey. I like when you tasted it, makes me want some NOW 😋 The only thing I'd change is to put the frozen peas in right before the spinach. I think this soup would be souper using leftover rice, or to ladle over leftover pasta like elbows or bowties. Have you ever tried to cut-up a second batch of veggies to freeze for a spur-of-the-moment soup. Hey if Tim likes chopping, ya know 😁These hardy soup vegs freeze perfectly. Wishing the best with your surgery, sending you love, Barb

  7. I cannot wait to make this soup Joey. It looks like the best of any I have ever seen. With homemade bread, what could be better? Thank you so much for the recipe. I will treasure this recipe. My husband LOVES to chop veggies. Thank goodness he does, as I hate to do it. I feel like you do. I do it, but I hate to do it. In fact years ago I quit the vegetarian lifestyle, even though I was feeling great on it (it was like 30 years ago) because of the chopping. I never liked salads because of the chopping either. My husband does, so we are a match made in heaven! Thank you again for this recipe. This will be my go-to recipe for my family when my grandchildren come. Hope your surgery goes extremely well, and you recover quickly.

  8. This is not only a good soup recipe, but done in an IP without having to freeze leftovers. I’m not really a soup person, never was. But my husband comes from a family that says “its not a meal unless there is a good bowl of soup with it.”
