  1. Im finally on my own as an adult and want to start cooking and this seems like a good place to start. One thing im confused on is how you add everything from the bag and cook it then when its done it seems like theres a bunch of juice in the crock pot? did you add water or broth before you cooked it?

  2. I made the coconut lamb + lentil curry modifying the portion of meat to lentils (dad is a meat eater) and slightly less curry and more peas (for me). I loved it and mom and dad asked for leftovers for the week. I love leftovers. I am making the fajita beef for them this weekend. Thanks for the healthy and delicious ideas.

  3. Thank you! I may not be a fan of squash OR black beans, but your recipes have unlimited substitutions for those few items. Love my instant pot BUT also love my crock pot. I can imagine (I work from home) having those delicious scents wafting through the air!

  4. Silly question – when I cook I always sweat my onions and sauté garlic before adding other ingredients. Is there a significant difference in taste by adding onion and garlic to the slow cooker raw vs already-cooked? Obviously raw is easiest.

  5. If I reduce the quantity and just make 2 portion size – do I need to reduce the cooking time? Normally these recipes are for large number of people.

If I want to create a smaller bag only for myself – would the cooking time be changed or would it remain the same as you suggested in the video which is around 6-8 hours depending on the recipe?
