Chickpea Salad Recipe – Healthy Recipe Channel


Chickpeas or garbanzo beans are probably my favorite legume to use as an ingredient in so many different applications. This chickpea salad vegetarian recipe is so easy to make in just minutes, and you dont even need to cook the garbanzos to make it lol. Chickpeas are a great source of vegan protein perfect for those looking to increase their protein intake while eating vegan recipes.

1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
2 tomatoes diced = about 1 cup
1/4 cup of fresh Cilantro
1/2 lime
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 cup of diced cucumber
2 16 ounce cans of chickpeas
salt to taste

Summer coming up here in Australia 🇦🇺 soon ..It’s Springtime now so thanks so much for this recipe 👍 Im not keen on chillie though so I’ll be leaving that one out . ps I use Herbamere Salt so that’ll add to the nice flavour as well . It’s not being sold now in our Supermarkets here so now I have to get it online . I’m 60 years old and my mother used to use it in the 1970’s ! I love it for adding herbal flavour in my cooking.
