BABA GHANOUSH | DELISH ARABIC APPETIZER | KETO RECIPE | EASY LUNCH RECIPE
Baba Ghanoush is a famous Arabic / Middle Eastern Appetizer; it’s place of origin is said to be Lebanon.
It is quite similar to Hummus but has its main ingredient as Eggplant instead of the Chick peas in Hummus.
It consists of 07 to 08 ingredients Eggplant, Tahini, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Salt, Coriander & Seasonings.
2-3 Garlic cloves
Few Coriander leaves
2-3 tsp Tahini paste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 lemon juice
1 tbsp. Olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1)Take 1 medium size eggplant, wash it & dry with kitchen towel.
2)With the help of pointed knife prick the eggplant.
3)Roast the eggplant -you can directly roast it or roast it an oven for 20-30mins.
4)After roasting transfer it to a bowl & cover it with foil paper. Let it cool down.
5)After cooling scrape out all the pulp from it.
6)Mince 2-3 garlic cloves
7)Finely chop coriander leaves.
8)Mince the eggplant pulp.
9)Now add the garlic & coriander leaves to it & again mince it all together.
10)Add 2-3 tsp of Tahini paste.
11)1/2 red chili powder. 1/4 tsp of salt & juice of lime
12)And mince altogether
13)Transfer it to a shallow serving dish & spread it .Add olive oil on top.
14)Add balsamic vinegar on top
15)It’s ready to be eaten. Enjoy it as a side dish or appetizer with flat bread.
Note: For those who don’t know what Tahini Pate is its basically Sesame Seeds Paste
