Afang soup is one of the easiest Nigerian soups you can make – it is also delicious and full of nutrition! If you live in Nigeria, it is better to grind it at the market-your soup would be less watery & the texture better (but I realise they don’t wash the leaves before grinding which is why I prefer grinding at home) If you are not subscribed join the family by clicking and let’s be friends on Instagram. This recipe? Love it… Love your sincerity with pepper. I'm a pepper person too. Lol
Well done. I’m partly Calabar and grew up in Calabar. We cooked the soup all the time. I’m so glad to see you didn’t add onions. A typical CALABAR person cannot stand onions in Afang soup. You did well Sisi Yemmie.

Good day ma, why did you choose to make Afang paste than using it directly?
Video editing and process was really good…your process is a bit different from mine though and that dried prawn was a winner for me.
We call this soup in Cameroon Eru. We use the same ingredients, but we don't blend Afang(Okok).
