Have you been to Colours Cafe in Truro? They do good smoothie bowls…….well they just do great food. We are treating ourselves to breakfast there tomorrow, weather permitting. Also The Cornish Vegan is fabulous, with a lovely little outdoors. Feels like you’re in the Med!

Turmeric is excellent for us but our body doesn't absorb it well without black pepper. So a dash or two of black pepper, which you won't taste, will make a huge difference.
Any smoothies I've made was made in a cheap blender and was frustrating because the greens or oats wouldn't blend well and I fear the motor would burn out if on too long.
I'm a freeze the smoothie into popsicles type of person 😁

Smoothies every day for me, thanks. I'm one of the people who don't like banana and I freeze baked (white) sweet potato to use instead as it adds a sweetness, an almost vanilla taste, and satiety.

Why would you put protein powder in a smoothie 🤔 I didn’t realise a whole food plant based diet was deficient in protein – I thought it would provide enough protein. I better start using chronometer as I honestly thought I was getting enough
these look so good!! my go to smoothie at home is almond milk, frozen pineapple mango and raspberries with honey, chia and hemp seeds. a scoop of collagen powder as well. it’s amazing!!!
you can also use frozen zucchini in a smoothie instead of the banana. can't taste it at all and it's easier to blend than a frozen banana.
I eat smoothies in a bowl even if I don't put toppings on them. Since you're supposed to chew on your smoothies to help your body with the digestion part, I just find it easier to eat with a spoon and for some reason more filling. Plus my blender doesn't blend till smooth so drinking it with a straw is impossible while I can scrape every bit of it with my spoon from the bowl. 😋
That's the fab thing about you! Your tip is what I have to do. Not all of us have the luxury of a vitamix.. My kitchen gadgets dream😍🙏… Hopefully one day. Thank you for sharing it on your channel people like me will benefit from this tip. I get more nutrition into the smoothies into the families smoothie. What more would a mother want.

For me personally, I prefer smoothie bowls because than I am sure I chew enough to digest it probably. Also I love a crunchy granola topping – no need to be fancy 🙂 Love the recipes! I can confirm it easily gets boring with smoothies because you tend to make the same one over and over again 🙂 Lucky, we have you 😀

I’m both! I like smoothies for convenience but with being home all the time now smoothie bowls are nice and having the toppings can be fun!
On the written recipe for the chocolate smoothie, the coco powder ingredient is missing, so was wondering how much of it to add? This looks delicious and looking forward to a change from the green and mango ones I usually have. Thanks!
My favorite is Meghan Markle's go-to healthy smoothie (per a 2015 interview): 1 packet shake powder of choice (I use vanilla flavor, one scoop), 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1 tsp. cinnamon, some chia seeds, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup coconut water. It's tasty and low on calories!
