    For this jicama chop salad, I used :

    1 giant jicama (about 3 cups)
    1-2 bell peppers
    About 6 Persian cucumbers
    1/2 red onion
    1 can chickpeas, rinsed
    Chopped parsley and cilantro (optional)
    Note: I added hearts of palm because I accidentally added too much onion

    Dressing : 1/2 cup lime juice, 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp honey, 1/2-1 tsp salt and fresh cracked black pepper

    Protein : salmon from @ilanameals

  2. I never believed in calorie counting. I believe in moderation, lots of water and stop eating when you feel full, and not eat if your not hungry.

    I eat breakfast and lunch. I don't always have dinner if I'm not hungry.

    Depending on the night, I try not to eat after 6 pm or 8 pm.

    Of corse follow diet restrictions you might have from your dr or your body.

    I can't eat hot dogs because they make me sick.

  3. I have a thyroid problem plus I’m going through menopause and I literally find it so hard to lose weight! I can’t go above 600 calories a day and I have to exercise (I’m walking on a treadmill because I have back problems) I never had weight problem until I hit menopause and this thyroid problem. I don’t know what to do! It messes with head and I feel like shit because I try so hard and nothing happens. I literally don’t know what to do 😱
