  1. Unfortunately a lot recipes call for Almond Flour. When I started Keto a few years ago I was using Almond Flour without a problem and then one day I made brownies and my stomach flipped and turned. Thought it was a fluke so I laid off the desserts for awhile and then made Texas Sheet Cake and once again my stomach twisted into knots. Thought it might be the sweetener I was using but I was using the same sweetener for other recipes and I never had a problem. Continue to use my sweetener and never any issues. Needless to say Almond Flour just doesn’t agree with my gut. I did some research and found other folks have had the same issue with Almond Flour. Very sad because I love the taste of keto desserts made with Almond Flour but I can’t have it anymore.
