  1. Be careful when giving the cooked bones to your dog. They should never have cooked bones of any type and the marrow bones are too hard for strong chewers. They can easily fracture or break a tooth. Not only would that be painful for the dog but it would be excruciating for your wallet. Small dogs that dont chew very hard might be alright with marrow bones.
